Mr. Thomas Rajan, a 57-year-old Graduate of the Arts and a licensed private pilot, diversifies into Real Estate Development and starts Suraj in the year 1986. Over time, Suraj , the flagship company of the Group, earns its reputed place among building firms in Mumbai thanks to its growing commitment and quality-consciousness, besides specializing in the much-in-demand space of redeveloping tenanted properties in Mumbai’s premium areas. So far, Suraj has developed a close to 8,00,000 square feet of land, and has re-housed more than 2000 tenants free-of-charge. Suraj has simultaneously freed considerable areas of FSI for commercial benefit and development.
Mr. Rajan continues to act as Chariman and Managing Director, is also the Managing Director of the other group entity viz. Accord Estates Pvt Ltd.
Mr. Rahul Thomas, is a graduate and has completed his Bachelor of Commerce in the year 2007. He has also completed Masters in Family Business Management from NMIMS University in the year 2009. He is actively involved in the Administrative and Marketing decisions of Suraj. He has been working with Suraj for several years and has a good hands on experience on the day to day functioning of the company.

He is dealing with Govt., Semi-Govt. authorities for revenue & property matters and also attends the hearing before the collector or Superintendent of Stamps or Sub-Registrar relating to property &Registration matters. Experience in Society formation, Liaisoning, BMC, Proposals in BMC matter. Liaisoning with all Government Agencies like BMC and Statutory Bodies.

Mr. Gopal Barve has completed civil engineering in 1987 from Mumbai University. His skills & expertise in managing multiple sites along with real estate experience for the last 30 years, has moulded him to one of the key team member of Suraj .

She is a qualified cost and works accountant and MBA – Finance from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai. She has over 22 years of experience of multi-industry and cross functional experience with manufacturing and real estate industry in the areas of Debt Syndication, Mergers & Acquisition IPO, Corporate Finance. She is involved in financial management control & system and advices on various other aspect of general business management.
